Taman Bebek Bali, Sayan, Ubud

A place to soak in the beauty of the Balinese countryside and culture. Originally the home of American musicologist Colin McPhee – and the playground of many international stars such as Margaret Mead, Barbara Hutton and Betty Waterson- Taman Bebek is now a "Traditional Inn" with modern amenities.

Landscape artist and writer Made Wijaya acquired the land in 1983 and rebuilt the cottages - adding villas, swimming pools and a lobby/library. All villas have lush gardens and views overlooking the river valley.
